Well first - calm down! Getting access to the free downloads is extraordinarily simple. Follow these steps and you'll be all good. We promise!
See? That wasn't hard at all, was it? If you are still having issues, you are welcome to Contact Support and file a ticket under the Free Downloads category. The main reason is we simply don't have enough bandwidth to support free downloads otherwise. The secondary reason is that we would like to keep in touch with you regarding upcoming products and sales. So, registered users will receive our email newsletter - which is typically sent out once or twice a month. If that is simply too much for you - simply unsubscribe from the newsletter once you receive one. We don't mind (much!). If you choose to unsubscribe, you'll keep your account here, your ability to download new free products and can continue earning Nucleus Points. All our products have license files with all the legal jargon you need to understand this. The summary is that you can create music royalty-free with any of the free products we offer. You generally cannot redistribute the files in any way (except some products sourced from Creative Commons projects). We'd also ask that you respect our generosity and do not share the free download links. They are free, yes. But free from our site only, for our registered users only, please! Thanks for your understanding. That's because there aren't any. From the readme file (its there for a reason - just sayin'!) "About the refill itself: No combinators or patches have been created. Since these sounds are not multisamples, all you need to do is load them up in a NN-XT or NN19 and layer them up in a Combinator. To do this, just open up a Reason sampler, click the 'browse sample' button (see the Reason helpfile for the location of this button) and navigate to the Drone Structures Refill. Open the 'sample' folder inside and load any of the hundreds of pads and textures within!" |

At this time the only form of electronic payment we offer is through Paypal. We would like to offer more forms of payment - however Google Checkout and Amazon Payments are not yet available to Canadian merchants. Hopefully soon! If your order has been processed and confirmed, you can download all your products by logging into our site and choosing 'My Orders' from the user menu. If you've ordered and your product is not showing up in that list, then it could be possible that you've paid by Paypal e-Check. In that case our system needs to wait for the payment to clear before activating your download links. If that doesn't apply to you, feel free to file a support ticket and we're happy to help. If you would like to sell (transfer) the license of any of your NSL products you can do so for a nominal fee of $25. This fee covers multiple products to a single recipient. The new owner of the license will be entitled to updates, support, as well as special NSL-customer only deals and prices. Please file a support ticket if you would like to initiate a transfer. Be sure to include your proof of purchase (email receipt) with your ticket. Make certain you understand exactly what you are purchasing. If you do not, contact us first please. There are no refunds. |

Under normal circumstances, no. However we are monitoring download links and if there is an abnormally high volume of download attempts your link will be removed. Please don't share your download links with anyone to ensure this doesn't happen. We use your address to determine taxes. Just log in, and choose 'My Products' from the user menu and select the appropriate order. These purchases are not entered in to the current database, so you won't find them under 'My Products'. However, if you lose your product for whatever reason and need a new link - please file a support ticket under the 'Refresh Old Download Links' category and we'll be happy to help. Your request will be processed much faster if you provide us with the Paypal email you originally purchased with (if it differs from your current address), as well as the approximate date of purchase. |

Nucleus Points are points that are earned by registered users for various actions. They can then be cashed-in on product purchases. 100 point = $1 CAD towards purchases on Nucleus-SoundLab.com. The main way to earn Nucleus Points is by making purchases on our site. 5% of the value of all purchases is converted to Nucleus Points. So for example, if you purchase a product worth $49 you will receive 245 points. Additionally, you will receive 300 points just for registering on our site and 75 points for every Nucleus SoundLab newsletter you read (check each newsletter for a points code and enter it in your account!) Upon product checkout, just choose the Nucleus Points option and follow the instructions. You can accumulate a total of 4000 points in your account. Once you've got that many points, you'll need to spend some of them before you can earn more. You can still complete your order by going to the 'My Orders' section of the user area. Your points are still counted as a discount towards that order. So, nothing is lost! Unfortunately, no. That's not our choice - its a limitation of the current system. So you'll need to either use your coupon code or your points on any given order. |

It depends on the ReFill. Here is the rule: Reason is fully backwards compatible, so if you have a higher version than is required by the ReFill - you are fine. Example: Pantheon I requires Reason 4. But it works just fine in Reason 5, 6 or 6.5 (and probably all future versions!) Obviously if you have a lower version than is required, you'll experience compatibility problems. Most of our products come with installation instructions as either a PDF or text file. Have a look there first. But in general its very simple - put all .rfl files into your Reason folder - or a folder that belongs to your Reason browser favorites list. Note that some ReFills come packaged as two or more .rfl files, so make sure they all go in the same folder. We've discontinued some products earlier this year - including all our older Wusikstation soundsets. Sorry, if you don't see a product on the site that means its no longer available. |

Sorry, but its 2012 and its very hard to support older browsers. Nucleus-SoundLab.com looks best on the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. |
