Today Nucleus SoundLab announces discounted crossgrade prices for Wusik.com Wusikstation customers. Until August 31st, 2008, Wusikstation owners can crossgrade to the Viral Outbreak VSTi plugin for 25% off. Additional bundle deals are also available.

I own an older Wusikstation version, what about me?
It doesn't matter. All Wusikstation versions are applicable for the discount, except the free V1 Computer Music magazine version.

Whats the product?
Viral Outbreak is a new plugin based on the sounds of the Virus TI hardware synthesizer. It is powered by WusikEngine V4 technology. Much more information and MP3s, as well as a downloadable demo are available at the product page.

Whats the difference between Wusikstation V4 and Viral Outbreak?
The VSTi technology inside is exactly the same. Nothing is different except the included sounds, and the included skin. Everything possible with Wusikstation is possible with Viral Outbreak. Also, all samplesets and presets created for Wusikstation v2/3/4 are compatible with Viral Outbreak.

Why?
Some Wusikstation customers have expressed concerns at the new 'VIP' club Wusik.com has recently launched. For those customers who aren't interested in subscriptions, we'd like to provide a stable, easy-to-understand option.

What about updates?
Viral Outbreak customers will receive a free engine update to WusikEngine V5 once that technology is released officially and deemed stable.

You can crossgrade to Viral Outbreak VSTi for just $74.95 CAD.
Additionally, we've prepared some different packages for those who might want to expand their purchase with more NSL sounds.

I'm back!

Those who have have been around Nucleus SoundLab and myself for awhile will know that I work *very* hard all year long. Weekends, holidays, and late-nights usually find me working on the 'next big thing', dealing with customers and colleagues, or updating our webpage. However, even superhumans need some time to recharge once in awhile!

So, that said - I will be away on vacation from February 18th to March 3rd this year . During this time, I will continue to respond to email inquiries and fulfill electronic sales orders using my laptop. However, my response time will be considerably slower - this is a vacation after all! Expect sales orders fulfilled within 72 hours, and all other inquiries perhaps longer than that; in addition all DVD orders will not be shipped out until I return in early March; finally its unlikely I will be able to reply to any posts on our KVR forum or
private messages.

Viral Outbreak has been announced and is currently pre-ordering!

Your first thought probably is - huh? isn't Viral Outbreak already released years ago? To answer that question in short, the new Viral Outbreak is different in the following ways :

No sampler required! Viral Outbreak is powered by a full copy of the amazing WusikEngine V4 by Wusik.com. You can even use this engine to load our other Wusikstation libraries!
1.3GB+ of new sample content. Much of it is created with the new granular/formant TI oscillators.
A variety of new presets leveraging the new sample content - including 128 professional presets by Pro-Sounds. Exact number of new presets TBA but at least 150.
Old presets have been volume-balanced, and culled for quality so only the best remain.
A favorites preset folder has been created containing the best 128 presets in the set.
Now alternatively available in Reason 4.0 Refill format!
